I use the term ‘soft-furnishings’ widely, to encompass anything, outside of upholstered furniture, which is for the home and has been made with a fabric element. In my view this incorporates blinds to bed-spreads; cushions to lampshades, and beyond! Fabric is a hugely varied and versatile medium which adds colour, texture, and interest.
